Do you find that you are always tired, regardless
of the time of day?
-
Do you find that you are equally tired on a
weekday as on the weekend?
-
Do you find that you are always tired, regardless
of how much sleep you have?
There are a number of conditions that this type of
tiredness may indicate, depending on other accompanying symptoms. Read through
the following list and click on the highlighted conditions that you relate to
the most. You don't need to experience every symptom in the list and there may
be more than one condition that you relate to.
If you have also experienced a general
decline in your skin, hair and nails; digestive problems such as leaky gut
syndrome; poor immunity (frequent colds, flu, infections) - this may indicate malabsorption
and nutrient
deficiencies.
If you also experience sugar cravings;
headaches; skin problems; feel unwell when you eat fatty foods - this may
indicate liver
congestion.
Do you often worry about your circumstances
or have trouble getting to sleep or staying asleep? Do you have a hectic
lifestyle and you often 'burn the candle at both ends' with either work, study
or partying? Your tiredness may be due to stress.
If you are also tired when you first wake
up; feel tired after exercise; lead a very hectic life now or in the past;
experience chronic allergies, inflammation or digestive problems - this may
indicate adrenal
exhaustion.
If you also experience low moods (not
necessarily depression); constipation; difficulty losing weight; feel the cold
easily - this may indicate hypothyroidism.
